As the Ambassador of Sovereign Military Order of Malta accredited to the Republic of Slovenia together with our Minister Counsellor H.E. Prof. Alberto Bochicchio and our Counsellor Commendatore Hugh Malim and the secretary Professor Matjaz Zigon with all our Embassy Staff, would like to offer you our sincere and heartfelt thanks for your most generous response to the “ Request for Donations” initiated by the Embassy for the Maltese Volunteers in Slovenia in February. The poor, the sick and the needy in Slovenia are in constant need of care and our young volunteers make a real difference to the lives of many stricken by the COVID-19 virus in addition to their existing care programs. Thanks to the generous support which the Embassy has received they will be now able to achieve even more.
As stated in the “ Request for Donations “, the Embassy will be sending detailed reports on how the goods received have been utilised to relieve the suffering here in Slovenia, and in closing I thank once more for your donation and the generous spirit in which it was given.
